LADYFEST BIELEFELD'S REQUEST FOR SHORTFILMS AND -VIDEOS ON LEITKULTUR [GERMAN "DEFINING CULTURE"]

The idea of Leitkultur [German "defining culture"] severely effects the organization and constitution of public space and life. LADYFEST BIELEFELD wants to [among other things] be a forum for other ideas concering the organization and constitution of public space and asks you to create images supporting this intention.

You, dear LADIES [WOMEN/LESBIANS/TRANSGENDER AND QUEER PEOPLE] are cordially invited to submit films or videos dealing with dominant norms, to play with them and /or to develope your own way of deconstructing to them.

The short films are going to be shown on one of the afternoons in the AJZ-Kino.

We would kindly ask you to submit films/videos no longer than 10 min.
Films/videos having been produced earlier, nevertheless fit the LEITKULTUR-topic but are longer than 10 min. will only be able to be shown if there's time and space.

Films/videos submitted that you would like to leave in Bielefeld are supposed to be used for an archive. More precise information on this will follow soon.

If you would like to have the copy of your film/video sent back to you after LADYFEST BIELEFELD, please fill this in in the registration form at "film/video shall remain at".

Your films and videos can be submitted in following systems/formats:
VHS, S-VHS, DVD, DV/Cam, Mini-DV, Super 8, 35mm, 16mm, Beta-Cam [video formats in PAL only]
