| | HEIDI
MORTENSON [Berlin]
Heidi Mortenson is a Berlin based One-Woman-Band
playing concerts which offer a new aproach to a mix of electro computer queer
rock asymetrical songs driven on beats and a full powered voice. In the beginnng
Heidi was experimenting with recording herself singing inside a washing machine,
rebuild a telephone receiver into a microphone, hooking up with a walkie-talkie
system and more
The breaks are twisted and turned in between rhythms
with bass lines and crisp cut up sound-patches making the pop genre crack. Add
a mentalist flavor, a straight jacket and adrenalinetic energy. Live on stage
heidi makes use of machines, effect-units, instruments, computer and special-built
microphones. Heidi`s

live. Also videos have an important appearance. Partly self- production, partly
result of different cooperations, they are not only illustration but produce their
own level of discourse and stage act. We are disco!
