| | How
actually becomes a child a woman? How do girls learn to deal with physical changes
that are occupied by a certain meaning, and to incorporate a female habitus, meaning
a certain repertoire of ways of thinking, feeling, behaving and knowing, to become
socially accepted? What projective space is the female body and how are girls
confronted with these projections? In which way our society calls for the performance
of an unambigous gendered identity? The female authors of the anthology "brüste
kriegen", that was published in fall 2004, describe with what kind of normality
girls have to learn to live with during their puberty.

Gößling [Düsseldorf] | | | | | "Vom
Hundertsten ins Tausendste" [falls ich mich nicht verzählt habe]"
are narrations, down to earth, sometimes hair-rising. They tell stories about
musicians, postmen, New Wilds, couriers on bikes, managment consultants, really
nice guys and not so very nice guys from Düsseldorf, Berlin, Köln, New
York. Full of small and great comedy, bursting into grief, very special, exciting
because you never know what will be next. Often the speed changes dramatically,
the direction too, the language, the topic, the sujet, the mood, a breathless
and breathtaking way of story-telling. | | | | |
