Listen!Lounge: For beginners, shy ones and others!
You produce your own music or art but from the point where you are now you would never dare to go on stage with it? You recorded just one ore two songs on your computer, you are experimenting with sounds and voices, but you dont want to bring them on stage, because you are looking for other forms of representation? Bring your stuff to the Listen!Lounge. We will organize TapeRecorders and CD- PLayer that incude headphones or loudspeakers. The artist's group sea [Berlin, Hamburg, Zurich] will present in the Hombase, from Friday, the 17th of September on:
The new sea-Zine: ...is supposed to prepare the Workshop !To assert ourselves and to claim our thrones! sea-Mix-Tape-Action: "It's not all about sex": 50 tapes with 50 different titels on this very issue, each is 60' long. There's nothing on these tapes so far and they are waiting for you, Ladies, to be taken with you. Every Lady is asked to chose her favourite title and -if wanted to- to take the tape home with her and record sounds, songs or whatever. The tapes are supposed to be then sent back to sea, so that there will once be a "sex-tape-archive", which in a further action- how will be a matter of discussion- will be made public. For reward, each mixer receives a copy of a tape of her choice, mixed by another mixer. Copies of the tapes can as well be "acquired". The titles are for instance: Me and my ladyboy, Monogam für eine Stunde [monogamous for one hour], Quickies, Astronautinnen Ansichten [opinions of spacewomen], Lie like lions, Stimmungen sind eine Zumutung [moods are hell].
